My love of photography comes out in the eyes of the people and animals I take pictures of. I have always had an "eye" for photography. Maybe that's why I take so many pictures of eyes. Nothing makes me happier than taking a picture of someone that helps them see how fabulous they really are. A side of them they have never seen. Not a glamour shot. Anyone can put hoards of make-up on and take a good picture.
I'm always looking for the unexpected shot. The moment between thoughts, the moment people think I am done shooting and they stop posing, that's where the magic happens. For me it's not about make-up, it's about the person. Every person is beautiful. Getting people to relax and allowing that beauty to come out is where technique and equipment are put aside and intuition and creativity take over.
