Julia,

What’s in a Name?

It’s been suggested to me by a very sweet and trusted friend that my business name, Personal Expressionz is too generic. They have suggested having fun with my company name and being more personal. Although I do like Personal Expressionz, I’m not completely attached to it. My friend is right when she says there are too many other companies with similar names. As a matter of fact, there’s a photography studio in downtown Round Rock called Personal Impressions. So, what should I call my business? Should I stay with the traditional studio and call it my name, Julia Heart? Or should I name it something fun and off the wall like, Ansel the Cat Studios? I do have a cat named Ansel, I’m sure she would be delighted if I named my business after her. Please tell me what you think. I’m interested in your opinion. Maybe we can come up with 5 or 6 names and have a vote. I love voting. ---Jules

1st Place Goes To-“Lone Tree” by Elizabeth of Pflugerville Texas. “The picture was taken with a Canon A90 Digital. (No photo shop adjustments were made to the picture). We flew in from Texas to visit our family in Pluckemin, New Jersey on Christmas day. On our way to my Grandmother’s house, we passed a field off Mountain Road with the most magnificent tree. The tree has much New Jersey Folk Lore associated with it and is called "The Devil's Tree" by New Jersey-ites. As we rounded the corner on Mountain Road with the sun setting behind the tree, we HAD to stop. It was a vision of beauty and strength.”

Second & Third Place Goes To- April Burge! That's right, both 2nd and 3rd place go to the same person! April has an eye for beauty that is stunning, simply stunning. 2nd place is "Paris Perfection" and 3rd place is "True Beauty".

I want to thank everyone for entering and voting. I had such a wonderful time seeing all the great photos. We are so going to do this next year. If you have any other great ideas about contest please let me know. They're the most fun!

Many people have wanted to purchase some of my Art Pictures. I have now added a link to this page on my website so you can purchase any size print you prefer. Select the ones you desire then pay with a credit card and the prints will be sent directly to your home or office.

Need a headshot? Think it’s too expensive? If you go to other photographers, it just may end up being very expensive. Being a small business owner myself, I fully understand how important a headshot can be. As a service to other business owners, I do business headshots for $80.00 You’ll never be able to beat the $80.00 price, which includes the digital image of your choice. Call today to schedule your appointment. Average appointment time needed is only 30 minutes. Won’t it be nice to take this off your “To-do” list?

This month my pictures are being displayed at Scents of Décor. Scents of Décor is a fabulous store that sells candles, accessories and aromatic gifts. They are the nicest people in the world.

TIRED OF PAYING HIGH GAS PRICES? Are you tired of paying high gas prices? Roger Barnhart has ran across a product which can save you up to 25% or more per gallon of gas or diesel every time you filled up at the gas pump. It's what many call a fuel pill that also comes in a powder form. In fact it's setting industry records every week. The company is on track to do a minimum of $161 million in sales in it's first year. For more information on this exciting product that has been used in Europe for over 16 years, and has only been in the US for 5 months, visit www.MaxGasNow.com, or call him at 512 784-1146.
The Heisman trophy is named for John William Heisman the first full-time coach and athletic director at Rice University in Houston.

Photography is fun, no matter which side of the camera you're on!

This months grammar helpers were Gail Alexander and Paul Beck. I must apologies to both of them. They corrected the newsletter and I still made some mistakes. Any errors you find...just assume they are bad and not Gail and Paul's. :) To know me is to love me!

Warmest regards,

Julia Heart
