A story from
Brandi Avant “I have shaved my head for three reasons. One is that I
want to show support for those who lose their hair while undergoing
treatment for cancer. Second is that by shaving my head, I am raising
awareness about this widespread disease. People will no doubt ask me why I
shaved my head, and that will provide an opportunity for me to share my
story. The third reason I shaved my head is so I could donate my hair to
Locks of Love (www.locksoflove.com), a non- profit organization which
provides real hair prosthetics for children with permanent hair
loss.” I would like to share
one of the people that inspired me to provide my hair to a worthy and
noble cause. I met Brandi at a networking meeting, and we started
discussing my sever neck pain, that I have had for the past three years.
Brandi is a fabulous massage therapist specializing in Chronic Pain relief
using Myofascial Release. She has changed my life and shown me that pain
is something I don’t have to be in EVERY day. To see more of Brandi’s

It’s in the
bag! Thanks to a brilliant idea from a dear friend and perfect timing,
I am now a Beijo Bag representative. Since I’m in love with these purses
it is an honor and privilege to be able sell them. It is against company

Got Product?
Family photography has always been my true photographic passion, but
lately I have been looking thru my camera lens to see what else is out
there to take pictures of. Product photography has always been an interest
to me since I spent most of my teens pouring thru fashion magazines and
looking at every Ad, twice. Let me know if you need something photographed
for your businesses. I would love to do it for you.

An Important note
from Karen Porter! It is with very mixed
emotions that I am announcing to you that Scents of Decor will be soon
closing its doors. We are most definitely sad, as the store has been a
labor of love for my family and me. However, even with our loyal and
enthusiastic customers, we simply aren't seeing the level of sales that we
need to stay open. We desperately need to sell our merchandise!
Unfortunately, my lease prohibits me from publicly advertising a Going Out
of Business Sale. I can't hang a banner, nor can I place local ads to this
effect. PLEASE help us spread the word that our store is closing. ALL
